EUROPEMUGS ONLINE SHOP TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Effective from: 25 September 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern purchases made through the EuropeMugs online store at www.europemugs.com.
1. SELLER
The Seller is:

Hereinafter referred to as “EuropeMugs” or the “Seller”.
2. DEFINITIONS AND SCOPE
Consumer means a natural person purchasing Goods for purposes outside their economic or professional activity.
Business Customer means a natural or legal person purchasing Goods wholly or mainly for purposes related to its commercial, economic or professional activity.
Buyer means either a Consumer or a Business Customer.
Goods means products offered for sale through the EuropeMugs online store.
These Terms apply to orders placed through the EuropeMugs online store.
Where these Terms specifically refer to a Consumer, the relevant provision applies only to Consumers. Statutory consumer rights, including the statutory right of withdrawal, do not automatically apply to Business Customers.
Mandatory rights granted to Consumers by applicable law remain unaffected by these Terms.
3. PRODUCT INFORMATION
EuropeMugs makes reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, specifications and prices displayed in the online store are accurate.
Product colours may appear slightly different depending on the Buyer’s screen, device settings, lighting or photography.
Minor variations in colour, dimensions, finish, shape or other characteristics that are normal for the relevant manufacturing process shall not constitute a defect where they do not materially affect the intended use of the product.
The Buyer is responsible for checking that the selected Goods are suitable for the Buyer’s intended use, including compatibility with equipment, printing processes and other materials where relevant.
4. PLACING AN ORDER
The Buyer places an order by selecting Goods, adding them to the shopping cart, entering the required information, selecting the delivery and payment method and confirming the order.
Before placing the order, the Buyer must check the order details and correct any errors.
By submitting an order, the Buyer confirms that the information provided is correct and that the Buyer has read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
A separate purchase agreement is concluded for each accepted order.
The Seller may contact the Buyer if additional information is required to process the order.
5. ORDER CONFIRMATION
After an order has been placed, EuropeMugs sends an electronic order confirmation to the e-mail address provided by the Buyer.
Receipt of an automated order notification does not prevent EuropeMugs from cancelling an order where:
- the Goods are unavailable;
- an obvious price or technical error has occurred;
- payment has not been received;
- information provided by the Buyer is incomplete or incorrect;
- fulfilment of the order would be unlawful; or
- another objective reason prevents fulfilment of the order.
If an order that has already been paid cannot be fulfilled, EuropeMugs will refund the amount paid for the unavailable Goods.
6. PRICES AND VAT
Prices displayed in the online store are indicated in euros.
Unless stated otherwise, prices include VAT where VAT is applicable.
Delivery costs are not included in the product price unless specifically stated otherwise.
The applicable delivery charge is displayed during checkout before the Buyer confirms and pays for the order.
The final price shown before the order is submitted is the price payable by the Buyer, except in the case of an obvious technical or pricing error.
7. PAYMENT
Orders must be paid using one of the payment methods available in the online store.
Unless otherwise agreed with EuropeMugs, Goods are supplied after payment has been received.
Invoices and other purchase documents may be provided electronically.
8. AVAILABILITY
Goods displayed in the online store are subject to availability.
If Goods become unavailable after the order has been placed, EuropeMugs will inform the Buyer as soon as reasonably possible.
The Buyer may be offered:
- an alternative product;
- partial fulfilment of the order;
- a later delivery date; or
- cancellation and refund of the unavailable Goods.
The Buyer is not required to accept an alternative product.
9. DELIVERY
Available delivery methods, destinations and applicable delivery charges are displayed during checkout.
EuropeMugs currently offers delivery using selected parcel locker and courier services, depending on the destination.
The Buyer is responsible for providing a complete and correct delivery address and contact information.
Delivery times shown in the online store are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
EuropeMugs is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, but this does not affect mandatory Consumer rights relating to delivery.
If a parcel is returned to EuropeMugs because the Buyer provided incorrect delivery information, failed to collect the parcel or otherwise prevented delivery, EuropeMugs may charge reasonable costs for repeated delivery.
10. TRANSFER OF RISK TO CONSUMERS
For Consumers, the risk of accidental loss of or damage to the Goods normally passes to the Consumer when the Consumer, or a third party nominated by the Consumer other than the carrier, obtains physical possession of the Goods.
Where the Consumer independently chooses a carrier not offered by EuropeMugs, the applicable legal rules regarding transfer of risk shall apply.
11. COLLECTION FROM EUROPEMUGS
Where collection from EuropeMugs is offered, the Buyer may collect the Goods from the stated collection point after receiving confirmation that the order is ready.
Before collecting an order in person, please contact EuropeMugs in advance.
The Buyer may be asked to provide the order number or other information necessary to identify the order.
Orders should be collected within the period communicated by EuropeMugs.
If an order is not collected within a reasonable period, EuropeMugs may contact the Buyer to arrange collection, delivery or cancellation, subject to applicable law.
12. CONSUMER RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
This Section applies only to Consumers.
Unless a statutory exception applies, a Consumer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason within 14 days.
For Goods, the withdrawal period generally begins on the day when the Consumer, or a third party nominated by the Consumer other than the carrier, obtains possession of the Goods.
Where several Goods ordered together are delivered separately, the withdrawal period generally begins when the Consumer receives the last item.
Where Goods are delivered in several lots or parts, the period generally begins when the Consumer receives the last lot or part.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Consumer must clearly inform EuropeMugs of the decision to withdraw before the withdrawal period expires.
The Consumer may contact EuropeMugs at:
- E-mail:[email protected]
- Address: A. Čaka iela 104, Riga, LV-1011, Latvia
The Consumer may use the model withdrawal form provided below, but use of the form is not mandatory.
13. ONLINE WITHDRAWAL FUNCTION
Where required by Latvian law, Consumers who concluded a distance contract through the online interface must also be provided with an easily accessible online withdrawal function during the applicable withdrawal period.
The online function must enable the Consumer to submit the information necessary to identify the Consumer and the relevant contract, and to provide an electronic contact method for receiving confirmation.
After the Consumer confirms the withdrawal online, EuropeMugs will provide confirmation of receipt on a durable medium, such as e-mail, without undue delay, including the content of the withdrawal and the date and time of submission. These requirements entered into force in Latvia on 25 September 2026.
14. RETURNING GOODS AFTER WITHDRAWAL
The Consumer must return the Goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying EuropeMugs of the withdrawal, unless EuropeMugs has offered to collect the Goods.
The Consumer bears the direct cost of returning the Goods unless EuropeMugs has expressly agreed otherwise.
The Goods should be securely packaged to prevent damage during return transport.
Before sending Goods back, the Consumer is encouraged to contact EuropeMugs at [email protected] so that the return can be processed correctly.
15. REFUNDS FOLLOWING WITHDRAWAL
Where the Consumer validly exercises the right of withdrawal, EuropeMugs will refund payments received from the Consumer, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered by EuropeMugs.
Additional delivery costs resulting from the Consumer choosing a more expensive delivery method do not have to be refunded.
The refund will be made without undue delay and, in any event, within the statutory period of 14 days from the date on which EuropeMugs is informed of the Consumer’s decision to withdraw.
For sales contracts involving Goods, EuropeMugs may withhold the refund until the Goods have been received back or until the Consumer provides evidence that the Goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
Unless otherwise agreed, refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
16. CONDITION OF RETURNED GOODS
A Consumer may inspect and handle the Goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning in a manner comparable to what would reasonably be possible in a physical shop.
The Consumer may be responsible for any reduction in the value of the Goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for this purpose.
Opening packaging or reasonably inspecting Goods does not by itself automatically cancel the statutory right of withdrawal.
17. EXCEPTIONS TO THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply in circumstances provided by applicable law.
This may include, among other cases:
- Goods made to the Consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised;
- sealed Goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons after being unsealed;
- Goods which, after delivery, are inseparably mixed with other items;
- services that have been fully performed in circumstances where the Consumer has expressly agreed to commencement and acknowledged the loss of the right of withdrawal where required by law; and
- other cases specified by applicable legislation.
These exceptions apply only where the legal conditions for the relevant exception are met.
18. NON-CONFORMING OR DEFECTIVE GOODS — CONSUMERS
EuropeMugs is responsible for supplying Consumers with Goods that conform to the contract.
Under Latvian consumer law, the Seller is responsible for non-conformity existing at delivery and discovered within two years from delivery.
A Consumer is entitled to submit a claim concerning non-conformity within the statutory period and should submit the claim within at least two months from discovering the non-conformity.
Where Goods do not conform to the contract, the Consumer has the remedies provided by applicable law.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair or replacement and, where the statutory conditions are satisfied, an appropriate price reduction or termination of the contract and refund.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory rights granted to Consumers by law.
19. REPORTING DAMAGED OR INCORRECT GOODS
The Buyer should inspect the shipment as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If packaging is visibly damaged, the Buyer should, where possible, record the damage with the carrier and take photographs.
If the Buyer receives:
- an incorrect product;
- an incorrect quantity;
- visibly damaged Goods; or
- Goods that may be defective,
the Buyer should contact EuropeMugs as soon as reasonably possible at:
[email protected]
+371 25544328
The Buyer should provide the order number and, where useful, photographs or other information allowing EuropeMugs to assess the issue.
Failure by a Consumer to report visible damage immediately does not remove mandatory statutory rights.
20. BUSINESS CUSTOMER RETURNS
The statutory Consumer right of withdrawal does not apply to Business Customers.
Goods purchased by a Business Customer may be returned only:
- where EuropeMugs has expressly agreed to the return;
- where the Goods are defective or non-conforming and the Business Customer has rights under applicable law or the contract; or
- where otherwise required by applicable law.
Any voluntary B2B return must be agreed with EuropeMugs in advance.
EuropeMugs may refuse voluntary B2B returns or may make acceptance subject to reasonable conditions, including the condition of the Goods and packaging and the deduction of reasonable handling or transport costs.
21. B2B INSPECTION AND CLAIMS
Business Customers are expected to inspect Goods promptly after delivery.
Any visible transport damage, shortage, incorrect product or other obvious discrepancy should be reported to EuropeMugs without undue delay.
The Business Customer should preserve packaging and provide photographs or other evidence where reasonably necessary to assess a claim.
This Section does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
22. WARRANTIES
A manufacturer or commercial warranty, where offered, is additional to any mandatory legal rights and does not replace them.
The duration and conditions of any commercial warranty applicable to specific equipment or Goods may be stated in the product description, warranty documentation or accompanying documents.
For Consumers, statutory rights relating to non-conforming Goods remain unaffected by any commercial warranty.
23. SUBLIMATION PRODUCTS AND USE OF GOODS
Many EuropeMugs products are intended for sublimation printing or other specialised production processes.
Printing parameters shown on the website, including time, temperature and pressure recommendations, are general guidance unless expressly stated otherwise.
Actual results may vary depending on the printing equipment, heat press, printer, ink, paper, environmental conditions, artwork and production process used by the Buyer.
The Buyer should perform appropriate tests before commencing larger production runs.
This provision does not exclude EuropeMugs’ responsibility for Goods that do not conform to the contract.
24. PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNTS
EuropeMugs may offer promotions, promotional codes, quantity discounts or other special offers.
Specific conditions applicable to a promotion will be indicated together with the relevant offer.
Promotions may have:
- minimum order requirements;
- validity periods;
- product exclusions;
- geographical restrictions; or
- other conditions.
Unless stated otherwise, promotional offers and discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash.
If Goods purchased at a discount are validly returned, the refund is based on the amount actually paid for the returned Goods, subject to applicable law.
EuropeMugs may amend or end a promotion for future orders, but changes do not affect orders already validly concluded.
25. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
EuropeMugs is not responsible for indirect losses or consequences arising from circumstances outside EuropeMugs’ reasonable control to the extent permitted by law.
For Business Customers, EuropeMugs shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of production or loss of business opportunity, except where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law or where otherwise expressly agreed.
Mandatory Consumer rights remain unaffected.
26. FORCE MAJEURE
EuropeMugs shall not be responsible for delay or failure to perform obligations where performance is prevented or materially affected by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include, for example:
- natural disasters;
- war or civil disturbance;
- government restrictions;
- strikes;
- transport disruption;
- major technical failures;
- energy or telecommunications outages;
- epidemics or emergencies;
- customs disruptions; or
- other comparable circumstances.
EuropeMugs will make reasonable efforts to inform affected Buyers and minimise the effects of such circumstances.
27. PERSONAL DATA
Personal data is processed in accordance with the EuropeMugs Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
The Buyer should read the Privacy Policy before submitting personal information through the online store.
28. COMPLAINTS
Complaints relating to orders, Goods or services may be submitted to:
E.T.R TRADE SIA / EuropeMugs
E-mail: [email protected]
Telephone: +371 25544328
Address: A. Čaka iela 104, Riga, LV-1011, Latvia
EuropeMugs will review complaints within a reasonable period and in accordance with applicable law.
29. CONSUMER DISPUTE RESOLUTION
A Consumer may contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre of Latvia (Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības centrs — PTAC) and use the consumer dispute resolution mechanisms available under Latvian law.
The former European Commission Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform is no longer included in these Terms because Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 was repealed and the ODR platform was discontinued with effect from 20 July 2025.
30. APPLICABLE LAW
These Terms and contracts concluded with EuropeMugs are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia.
For Consumers residing in another country, this choice of law does not deprive the Consumer of mandatory protection that applies under applicable consumer protection law.
31. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
EuropeMugs may update these Terms from time to time.
The version applicable to an order is the version that was in force when that order was placed, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
Changes to the Terms apply to future orders from the date the updated Terms are published.
32. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in force to the extent permitted by law.
